Dog friendly facilities and guidelines

Two dogs are welcome to stay at The Old Chapel together with their well behaved owners. There is no additional charge for dogs.

We are able to loan a small and a medium dog crate if required. Please request these when booking. We also provide some dog bowls.

We ask that dogs do not sleep on the beds. If your dog is used to spending time on the sofa please bring a throw to protect the sofas.

We request that dogs are not left alone in the property unless their owners are confident that the dog will not become distressed and bark, chew, etc.

Many local pubs and attractions are dog friendly. There are a number of dog sitting services locally who can take care of dogs for the day if the rest of the family are planning activities that aren't suitable for dogs. Our own dog goes to "Doggy Daycare" which is a 10 minute drive away in St Erth. Previous guests have recommended "Barking mad".

Dog walking is available from the house along footpaths through fields, and along quiet lanes. Porthkidney Sands at Lelant is about 10-15 minutes drive away and allows dogs throughout the year. Many beaches restrict access for dogs during the day between Easter and 1st October, although dogs are often permitted in the evenings and early mornings.
